AGS #1 2012 results and update!

First off, thanks to everyone who made the trip this weekend, nearly 200 riders scared the weather into submission and gave us decent conditions the first two days and warm t-shirt weather today!  A huge thanks to Deity, Transition Bikes, Shimano, and Gravity Components for rolling out to the race and giving us some sweet product to give away.  It’s been a long weekend, and we appreciate all the racers who came out…  Here’s the results!

And a few other notes:

1.  Please register online before next Thursday, this will ensure that we have enough of all the necessities at the race (medals, staff, port-a-potties, Pabst).

2.  If you have a USA Cycling license, you will need to bring it WITH YOU to registration, don’t leave it in your car or you will just have to go back and get it.

3.  You will have to race the class that is stated on your USA Cycling license, if you want to petition for an upgrade through USA Cycling you must do so by next Wednesday (March 21st)…  If you don’t think you will be able to petition USA Cycling for an upgrade by then you can contact josh@allgravityseries.com for more information.  Upgrades will not be done at the race this year.

4.  Unauthorized changes to the trail/tape will result in disqualification without refund.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone this season, see you next weekend!

Thanks to all the racers who came to Moscow, ID this weekend for the AGS Finals! All the shuttle trucks stayed on the road this year and the weather held out for race day, although it was just a little wet on Saturday for practice. We were lucky enough to have Tim Zimmerman from VitalMTB, and Ben “Caveman” Tobin from Decline shooting some photos of the race, expect a picture slideshow on Vital in the coming days and an article in Decline in the next few issues!

For 2012 we are planning to add at least 1 new venue, and hopefully we will have 2 races at Schweitzer next year!
