The People’s Enduro – Beacon Hill, Spokane, WA – March 22, 2014
The terrain at Beacon Hill in Spokane lends itself to many styles of mountain biking, and is accessible to riders of all skill levels, so this year we decided to add an Enduro race to the mix. This will be a conventional enduro, where you are timed only on the downhill (mostly) stages. The transition stages will be short-ish and fun, and will have to be completed within the time alloted, but will not be part of the race.
The People’s Enduro details -
Practice will take place all day Friday March 21, 2014. There will be a course preview on Sunday March 15th but keep in mind there could be slight changes to the courses during the week!
3 timed stages, stages will range from 5-10 minutes, 1500-2000 feet of climbing during the event, racers will be sent at 30 second intervals at the start of each stage. Awards immediately following the race.
Racing will start promptly at 10am Saturday March 22nd and the cost of The People’s Enduro race is $45.
Online registration will be open until March 19 and event registration will be open March 21st at Beacon, there will be a $10 late fee assessed for at-event registration. No entries will be accepted on the day of event, as the timing is too tight to take on any stragglers.
